MAKING A DIFFERENCE
This grows from the Year 11 concept - ‘the self’ and encourages students to develop their own focus exploring the notion that an artwork externalises the internal and has a unique ability to communicate beyond a quiet internal voice of thoughts and ‘the self’
- therefore a clear message and viewpoint.
Making a difference moves the student beyond ‘the self’ but does not exclude the import that it plays on how they respond to the stimuli continually present in the continuum of life.
Students are encouraged to make a difference, make a statement and express themselves through visual media and visual language.
