TASK
Create a unified Body of Work –
Explore the concept of MAKING A DIFFERENCE through possible focuses such as: sub cultures, body image, public concerns, addictions, spirituality and religion, freedoms, rights, divorce, crime, war, globalization, the media, technology, contemporary political issues and conflicts.
The concept encourages the exploration of the artwork as a method of communicating your perceptions and ideas in a strong visual message expounding the researched focus.
FOCUS
Through the above concept AND identifying a self-determined focus and framework students explore their focus/framework, collecting primary perceptions and responses to develop, experiment and resolve a ‘body of work’ with a personalised response to their identified focus/framework.
MEDIA
Students elect the media in response to the concept and their focus that could include 2D media, mixed media, found media, 3D media, electronic, time based or new media.
The Body or Work can contain one or a variety of media demonstrating the focus.
